The New Moon is a powerful time of new beginnings, transformation, and unseen potential. Those with a cancer diagnosis face a very challenging time, where nothing seems what it once was. Like the New Moon growing in its perceived light and power, New Moon Cancer Care hopes to offer the guidance, tools and support to nurture one’s own healing potential, and watch the light grow while the unneeded fades away.
The mission is to provide those affected by cancer with more options and better odds to return to health; wholistic care to support through conventional treatment or in some cases, an alternative to conventional cancer treatment.
The vision is to empower people, as they realize and manifest their own healing capabilities, with compassionate guidance and loving support.

Those with a Naturopathic Doctorate (ND) from an accredited university have learned how to be a primary care provider on par with a Medical Doctor (MD), although are only recognized as doctors in 23 states and 3 US districts and territories. In Oregon, where I am licensed, ND’s can diagnose clinically and with laboratory and imaging measures, prescribe pharmaceuticals, perform minor surgery, utilize intravenous and injection therapy, nutritional therapies, botanical medicine, homeopathy, physical medicine (including naturopathic manipulative technique), public health measures, hygiene and counseling. Unfortunately, Florida is an unlicensed state. Here, ND’s can carefully share their knowledge and experience but cannot diagnose, treat, order labs directly or prescribe medications. [1] . Energy Medicine derives from ancient roots yet is growing in popularity and acceptance today. There is a wide variety of modalities from all over the Earth that fit under this broad umbrella; acupuncture and homeopathy being the most widely known. One common underlying theme is that Energy Medicine works on the energy body, bio-electromagnetic field or aura (amongst other names), which can be measured and seen with current technology. This affects the physical body in turn, as well as affecting emotional and mental health. The effects may seem subtle. Energy Medicine is powerful yet gentle, appropriate for anyone willing to go within. Following a session, most people report feeling relaxed and calm, at peace. For those who are sensitive to energies, the effects may be felt as electrical charges, heat, color, images, even messages or memories. Some people cry as emotions are released. The only negative side effect is that it may bring to the surface some difficult feelings, but once dealt with will bring liberation. It is important to note that this modality is not officially recognized as Naturopathic Medicine, it is classified as Energy Medicine and is often offered by energy workers and spiritual healers. Still, I must legally disclose that an Energy Medicine session is not intended to diagnose or cure any medical or psychological condition, impairment or disease, although there are numerous studies that suggest positive outcomes with various medical and mental health conditions.
Reiki is an energy healing modality that came to us from Japan. The word Reiki comes from 2 Japanese words; Rei is divine energy and Ki is personal energy. With Reiki, there is a transfer of energy from the Divine/Universe/Source/God/Life Force/Light Beings/wherever you believe it comes from, through the practitioner (not originating from the practitioner), and to the person in need of healing. Holy Fire® Reiki has been likened to the evolution of Usui Reiki. Holy Fire® Reiki need not go through the practitioner at all and can enter the recipient directly, with the help of the practitioner. This energy medicine may feel relaxing, may release strong and potentially turbulent emotions that need to surface, or may feel like nothing at all. The intent of Reiki is always for the greatest and highest good.
Pranic Healing has some roots in ancient Chinese medicine but Prana is a Sanskrit word that means vital life force. Pranic Healing is a comprehensive system of subtle energy healing utilizing prana in balancing, harmonizing and transforming the body’s energy processes. This invisible bio-energy keeps the body alive and healthy. Pranic Healing is the scientific use of prana to accelerate the body’s natural healing process. As Master Choa Kok Sui says “Pranic Healing is a science that uses laws of nature which people do not know or are not aware of. Miracles are fantastic events which utilize hidden laws of nature. Miracles do not break the laws of nature; they are actually based on them.” Pranic healing, in my assessment, is more specific and targeted than Reiki. Pranic Healing almost always involves first cleansing, or removing the dis-eased energy, and then perhaps also projecting prana, or healing energy, into the client via specific techniques and procedures. Reiki usually involves touch (a laying on of hands) although doesn’t have to, while Pranic healing never involves touching the client.
There are many types of tuning forks and even more ways of working with their frequencies. I utilize the SomaEnergetics system of tuning forks and am currently offering work with the energy tuners, body tuners and DNA/RNA forks based on these ancient divine frequencies. It is indisputable that sound affects matter, as everything can be deduced to subtle energy fields. Tuning forks work with this principle, affecting the aura or etheric energy bodies directly and attempting to repattern any distortions, clear blockages, or calm hyperactive areas. They are intended for the rejuvenation and alignment of one’s mental, emotional and spiritual bodies, which may affect physical health as well.
The Emotion Code and Body Code were developed by Dr. Bradley Nelson and taught all over the globe in nearly every country, helping countless people ‘get their life back’. The Emotion Code teaches that we all have “trapped emotions” and/or “heart walls” that affect the way we interface with the world around us. This technique seeks to find one’s blockages with applied muscle kinesiology or pendulum usage and release them with the power of magnets and Chinese Medicine meridians. Similarly, the Body Code seeks to release karmic and ancestral patterns, implants and programs, spirit attachments and other tethers to our energy body that do not serve us. These are known broadly as “energy clearings” since layers of trapped, negative, stale and/or even harmful energies are transmuted for good. Most of us have many layers and so numerous sessions may be indicated as not all harmful energy patterns and distortions are able to be cleared at once.
Coaching is an essential piece of the puzzle, and completes what I call the divine trifecta. The leading cancer experts are in agreement that to truly help one become well from cancer, emotional healing is a must. Psychology plays a vital role in chronic disease and the new field of psychoneuroimmunology illustrates this fact. The coaching I do not only addresses the emotional plane, but the mental and spiritual planes as well, which then ripple out into the energy body and the physical body. I have learned Socratic style coaching, which is less about lecturing or passive listening and more about guiding and helping the client to arrive at their own breakthroughs. My 3 phase program can be condensed into 4 months or spread out over 8, depending upon session frequency. These are interactive co-creative experiences that involve workshops, exercises and homework. They are all virtual, from the comfort of your own home. The goal is to get to the root of why this cancer is really here, what lessons it brings, the shedding of that which no longer serves, rewiring the subconscious for healing, understanding how to have empowered coherence and alignment of body, mind, heart and spirit to allow a deep healing on all levels.
